What children may think of as impossible is often defined by psychological rather than physical limitations. At Camp Echo we offer adventure activities that give children a way to discover the great things they are truly capable of achieving and ultimately becoming. Our adventure theme helps us tell the story of climbing to new heights and reaching individual goals.

We know that summer is a very special time for children – it’s a chance to step back from daily routines and relax. A time to flourish in a unique environment designed especially for them. A place where they can leave their comfort zones and take healthy risks, knowing there are physical and emotional “safety nets” in place.

At camp children are given the chance to develop skills important to their futures – communication, sharing, helping others, persevering, and creating. As a sense of community is built, children gain self-confidence and self-respect and find out they are part of the greater whole.

Camp is one of the few places in the world where dreams come true and kids are guaranteed unconditional love and acceptance, where they are provided with a safe place in which to explore and learn, where they can be themselves and even discover who they want to be, and where they can grow and have amazing fun.
