Can’t get enough of an activity? Echo offers a great variety of activities with high quality instruction. Everyone has a favorite or some favorites, and you might want to spend more time in one specific area. Whether it is Baseball, Swimming, Tennis, Horseback Riding, Pottery, Dance, or Cooking, options is the time to intensify the learning experience in some areas. For 2008 the options program will become even better than it has been in the past, and will, in many activities, include a sequence of learning stages you can collect go through and record evidence of it in a learning options progress booklet.

For campers who want even more specialization in their favorite activity or choose to dabble in something new, we offer Artist-in-Residence and Athlete-in-Residence programs. We host professionals who share their talents and passions with our campers during special extended stays at camp. From improv to basketball clinics, there’s something for everyone to learn during Options times!

Twilight is our evening option – focused rather on relaxed activities or athletic games for specific groups, than instruction. Spend some time fishing or playing ping pong, join the 49ers for a game of baseball, play the next leg of the Echo tennis league… the choice is yours as you unwind from an active day.

Special Events are one-of-a-kind treats that appear regularly throughout the summer. Some are annual highlights, like Echomania, Luau, Water Carnival, and Tophats & Tiaras, while others are thematic surprises such as Winter Wonderland, Cartoon Day, Rodeo, and  Mardi Gras.

Add new Echo attractions such as our own permanent Flying Trapeze, and you begin to grasp the virtually endless choices at Camp Echo.
