Get To Know Us! With a Tour or Rookie Adventure!
If you are planning ahead and have a day in the summer to visit us during camp, we are delighted to schedule a tour for your family. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a visit to camp in session is priceless. You’ll get to see our community in action up close and witness the positive interactions of our campers and counselors.
Because visiting a camp without campers doesn’t show you what you need to know, we do not recommend tours when camp is not in session. If you are not able to make it to Camp Echo during the summer months, contact one of our directors and be sure to watch our videos so you can get an idea of what it’s like.
We recommend that when you tour camps, you choose no more than three or four. Choose the camps that feel best to you after watching camp videos or speaking with the camp director. When you are touring, observe the interaction between campers and staff and talk to campers and counselors and ask them questions. Don’t be distracted by facilities – a very common temptation. Remember, people make a camp; facilities add a level of comfort.
